permanent magnet motor is a kind of synchronous motor which uses a permanent magnet to provide a magnetic field.

Permanent magnet synchronous motor is mainly composed of stator, rotor and end cover. The stator structure is similar to that of an ordinary induction motor. It is composed of an iron core and a three-phase winding, and a rotating magnetic field is generated after the three-phase alternating current is passed into the stator. The rotor is made of permanent magnet material, and the magnetic field generated by the permanent magnet interacts with the rotating magnetic field of the stator, thus making the motor run.

pM synchronous motor has the following characteristics:

1,High efficiency: Compared with other types of motors, permanent magnet synchronous ac motors have lower energy loss and higher efficiency during operation.
2,High power density: The ability to output more power in a smaller volume and weight.
3,Good speed regulation performance: A wide range of speed regulation can be achieved by changing the frequency of the power supply.
4,High reliability: Because there is no field winding and slip ring and other vulnerable parts, the operation reliability is high.
5,Smooth operation: small torque ripple, smooth operation, low noise.

Application of PM synchronous motor in industrial field:

1. Machine tool equipment

In CNC machine tools, PM motors can provide precise speed and torque control, ensuring machining accuracy and surface quality. Its fast dynamic response enables the machine to achieve precise position control during high-speed machining.
For some machine tools that require frequent start-stop and speed changes, the low inertia and high response speed of synchronous AC motors can improve production efficiency.

2. Robot

Industrial robots usually require drive systems with high precision, high speed and high reliability. Synchronous motors can meet these requirements and provide power for the joint movement of the robot.
Its compact structure and high power density make the design of the robot more flexible, allowing for smaller volumes and lighter weight.

3, fans and pumps

The application of PM synchronous motors in fan and pump equipment can significantly improve energy efficiency. Through the speed control, the speed of the motor can be adjusted according to the actual load demand, avoiding the energy waste of the traditional fixed-speed motor under low load.
