Features and Applications

 

The ZFQZ series DC motors are suitable for harsh working conditions involving frequent forward and reverse rotations as well as frequent starts and stops. These motors feature excellent overload characteristics. The power ratings of the motors comply with the international standard IEC34-13, "Technical Specifications for Auxiliary Motors for Hoisting and Metallurgical Applications".

 

Product performance

 

The rated voltages of the motor are 220V and 440V. Other voltage grades can also be derived as required.
The excitation mode of the motor is shunt excitation.
At the base speed of the motor, it is allowed to operate at the maximum running torque specified in the technical data sheet for a duration of 60 seconds.
The rate of change of current (di/dt) of the motor can reach 200 to 250 times the rated current per second. If (di/dt) > 250 is required, it can be resolved through negotiation.

 

Structural Overview

 

The frame of the motor is an octagonal thin steel plate laminated structure, which features high utilization rate of stator space, compact internal structure, small moment of inertia, light weight and adaptability to silicon controlled rectifier power supply.
All the motors are equipped with compensating windings, which ensures excellent commutation performance and overload capacity of the motors.


The insulation class of the motor is F grade and it has been treated with solvent-free vacuum pressure impregnation (VPI). The winding insulation has excellent insulation performance and mechanical strength.


The commutator segments are of an integral vertical plate structure, and the connection between the vertical plates and the armature coils is made by tungsten inert gas shielded welding (TIG).


The armature core adopts a skewed slot structure, which can effectively reduce vibration and noise.


The motor adopts rolling bearings and a structure that allows oiling without stopping the machine.

 

Structure Features

 

1. The motor baseplate is of octagon laminated thin ste plate structure. Therefore, it has many advantages such as high utilization of stator room, tight inner structure, small rotating inertia , lighter weight and suitable for supplying electricity by controllable silicon

 

2, All the motors have compensatinq windinq, which makes motors have a good ability of commutation and overload function.

 

3, The insulatinq level of motors is Level F. The insulatioB.of motors is handled by Vacuum Impregnation (VPI).The winding has a qood insulation and mechanical intensity.

 

4, The commutator seqment is of vertical plate and inteqra structure, The connection with the vertical plate and armature coil adopts Tunqsten insert qas shielded arc weldinq (TIG).

 

5The armature core is of skewed slot structure, which is able to decrease vibration and noise effectively.

 

6.The motors structure is of rolling bearing and oil-flling without stopping.

 

Products Specification

 

1. There are 2 kinds of rated voltage of motors: 220V, 440VAs required, the motors with other voltage level can beproduced.

 

2. The mode of excitation of motors is shunt tgpe.The voltage of excitation is 180V or 310V. As required, themotors with other voltage level can be produced.

 

3. The motors coulel be operated for 60s under Max.Torgue listed the Technical Data Table.

 

4. For the motors of rated voltage 220V, the rotating speedcan reach as 2 times as the rated rotating speed throughincreasing the applied voltage.At this time, the allowablemax.rotating moment is as 1.8 times as the rated rotatingmoment. lt will last 15s.

 

5. For the motors of rated voltage 220V, the max. rotatingmoment is as 0.6 times as the rated rotating moment whenthe motors are running with field rotation regulated in theTechnical Data Table. lt will last 15s.

 

6. The electric current changing rate (di/dt) of the motors canreach as 200-250 times as the rated electric current changingrate. lt can be discussed if di/dt>250 is required.

 

7. The standard position of wire outlet box of the motors is onthe right of the machine baseplate seen from the drive end. lfrequired, it can be mounted on the left of the machine base-plate. lf so, this requirement should be stated in the order.

 

General

 

Series ZFQZ DC motors are developed on the basis of Z4Series and ZZJ-800 Series DC motors. The rotating inertia ofthe motors is 45% and 65% of the motors of Series ZZJ-800and ZZJ-900 respectively, The motors are suitable for directand reversal rotation and start and stop in high frequency in abad working circumstance.

 

The motors are good-overloading.The max.rotating moment and the starting moment are 112%and 117% of the moments of Series ZZJ-800 and Series ZZJ-900 motors respectively, The weight of the motors is just 65%of the Series ZZJ-800 motors. The class of the motor power isin accordance with the international standard lEC34-13" Technical Criterions of Auxiliary Machine and Hoisting andMetallurgy".Outline mounting dimensions of the motorscomply with lEC 72 Standard, except for the axial distancebetween the mounting holes(dimension B).

 

The mountingdimension of the motors with bottom plates is able to be incompliance with the dimension of Series ZZJ-800 and SeriesZZJ-900 motors.Also,the shaft extension dimension of themotors can be customized into the corresponding dimensionof Series ZZJ-800 and Series ZZJ-900 motors afterdiscussion with customers.Therefore,Series ZFQZ DCmotors can substitute for Series ZZJ-800 and Series ZZJ-900motors.

 

Requirements for Use

 

1. The allowable ambient temperature for the operation of the motors is -30C 〜+40C higherthan 1000m. and the allowable sea level is not

 

2. The supplying electric source of the motors adopts rectified electricsourceorDCgeneratorelectridsource.When adopting 3-phase, fully controllable bridge rectified electric source, the motors can work for a long period without outer smoothing reactor.
