YGP Series Variable Frequency Speed Control Of Conveyor Belts

The YGP series of roller conveyor variable frequency speed control three-phase asynchronous motors (hereinafter referred to as variable frequency roller conveyor motors) are mainly used for independently driving the working rollers of the metallurgical industry or other similar machinery. They are powered by a frequency converter and, together with the variable frequency speed control device, form a control system that enables the motor to achieve smooth and stepless speed regulation. The speed-changing mechanism is simple, the speed is accurate, and it can achieve energy conservation and automation purposes.

The starting torque of the YGP series variable frequency roller conveyor motors is high, the overload capacity is strong, the starting current is small, and the starting is fast and smooth. The speed regulation range is wide, the accuracy is high, and the operation is stable. The operation and maintenance are convenient.

The YGP series variable frequency roller conveyor motors are suitable for starting, braking, and speed regulation states, especially for mechanical equipment with frequent forward and reverse rotations, and can also be used in other mechanical equipment.

The YGP series variable frequency roller conveyor motors are of a closed type, self-cooling type, with a cooling method of IC410; the motor housing protection level is IP54 or IP55; the motor adopts F class or H class insulation. The F class insulated motor is suitable for places where the ambient air temperature does not exceed 40°C, and the G class insulated motor is suitable for places where the ambient air temperature does not exceed 60°C.

The YGP series variable frequency roller conveyor motors can operate normally under the following working conditions.

1. The altitude does not exceed 1000m;

2. The ambient air temperature is no more than 60°C (H class insulated);

3. Indoor dusty places;

4. Frequent significant mechanical vibration and impact;

5. Frequent starting, braking, and reversing.

The rated voltage of the YGP series variable frequency roller conveyor motors is 380V, the rated frequency (base frequency) is 50Hz, the stator winding of the motor is connected in Y or △, and it is suitable for power supply by a frequency converter. The rated frequency (i.e., base frequency) of each frame size can be selected and customized within the range of 20-50Hz according to user requirements. The working characteristics of the motor: below the base frequency it is constant torque, above the base frequency it is constant power, and the frequency variation range is 5-100Hz. The standard working mode of the YGP series variable frequency roller conveyor motors is S5-60%.
